The render time was 42 minutes and no post-processing was used other than to insert the copyright notice and signature. The background texture was
rendered in Cinema4D using relief map models of a location created for use in my Arnagest project. The mountain background is actually 4
rendered images taken at successive 90 degree angles and composited into a single long image in Photoshop, then mapped as a spherical Sky
texture.
Artistic Information: This is one of my more recent efforts created as part of the visualisation for my Arnagest project, showing what an
Aimanhyarin house looks like. The models are my my own except the trees outside (downloaded from 3DCafe.com),
the woman which is the same model I used in An Ancient Antagonism, and the foreground gem and gemlike lids of the bottles. These gem models
were downloaded from 3DLapidary.com (The bottles themselves are my own). In subsequent renders of this
scene (coming soon) I'll be using my own trees, some of which can already be seen in other pictures on this site.
