Image Information: 1280 x 1024. Another Terragen/Cinema4D combo. Using my Aimanhyarin Woman figure used in other images, I banged together some rocks in Cinema4D for
her to stand on and a glowing staff for her to hold. I also gave her a dress in place of the more prosaic pants she wore originally. The landscape is another World-Machine job,
with 3D clouds and volumetric lighting for the "sun-rays" effect visible around the clouds and distant mountains. The render time in Terragen for the landscape was around 50
minutes due to the large volume of water in the image. Cinema4D took 25 minutes to add the woman and rocks to the foreground, with the landscape as a Background object.
Artistic Information: Concept study for the cover of the book for Arnagest, although this one isn't quite there and has been relegated to the Galleries. I like the sense of mystery
and power that appears in this image though, with almost a poignancy to it as though the woman was saying farewell to someone or something, or perhaps trying to reach beyond
the world of her senses.
