Image Information: 1280 x 1024. With this image I was experimenting with Terragen's Atmosphere and Haze settings, trying to create a sense of distance. The landscape is
another World-Machine setup, this time with the Terrace and Gradient Slope filters added to create fault-block escarpments and strata formations. Render time was about
20 minutes, and is a pure Terragen render with no post-processing.
Artistic Information: A nice misty mountain scene in full daylight, something you might imagine in Lord of the Rings. I like the change of terrain in this one, with the
valley floor being green and lush, getting rougher and rockier as it rises to the mountains. I can picture myself hang-gliding in this place, and I'll probably use this one
when I come to do a flight animation with Terragen.
