Image Information: 1280 x 1024. More experimentation with Terragen's Cloud and Sky settings, to create a gloomy and overcast scene. The landscape was created directly in
Terragen using the Ridged Multifractal algorithm, and took 28 minutes to render. It needed something more, though, so the lightning bolt was added afterwards in Photoshop
using the Xenofex Lightning filter, and the flash effect in the clouds was added with the Airbrush tool in Screen mode.
Artistic Information: I had loads of nice sunny day scenes in Terragen, and wanted something nastier. I had recently obtained the Xenofex plug-in for Photoshop, and noticed
the Lightning filter in the list. After playing with this on a black screen, it didn't take long for me to decide that a Terragen scene was just the thing for it. So I did a
picture specifically for the Lightning filter; and this is the result!
