Image Information: 1280 x 960. Another Terragen-Cinema4D combo. The landscape backdrop was heightmapped in Photoshop and rendered in
Terragen, then the main scene was modelled in Cinema4D and rendered over it, with full refraction/reflection and Geometric antialiasing.
Total render time was 1 hour 32 minutes.
Artistic Information: More kinematics and cloth work in this image, although Kalya's (left) dress turned out something like a garbage bag
and I'll be redoing this one! Kailin (right) turned out better, with her dress being made of 3 layers of cloth sequentially layered over
each other with the Cloth and Collider tools in Cinema4D. This took the program better than 30 minutes to do the maths for this, but it would
have taken me hours to build the dress manually!
Picture Story: Kalya greets Kailin as they meet at the Verran Education and Learning Centre, one of the multi-function institutions common to
Aiman's cities. The ELC combines the functions of a school, university, library, museum, community centre and research labs all in the one
complex.
