Development Prices:

Most Web developers charge by the hour, which does not always reflect accurately the amount of work done. With Mystikan’s Cybersites, you only pay for the information actually displayed on the site, so you can accurately determine what you will get for your money. Here is how it works:

• Initial development fee is $AUD 100.00*. This includes an Entry Page with 1 graphic (if required), and a home page with up to 1000 words of text.
• Additional pages are charged at $AUD 20.00* per 1000 words of text.
• Additional graphics are charged as follows:
  • $AUD 20.00* per unique button set (eg for clickable intrasite link buttons such as “About Us”, “Home”, “Catalogue”, “Products”, etc.
  • $AUD 20.00* per unique Header graphic (eg your company logo with some swishes or effects to go on top of each page.)
  • $AUD 20.00* per unique inline image using 3D raytracing (such as backdrops, separator bars, table frames, bullet points etc.)
  • $AUD 10.00* per unique inline photo image (such as product, location and staff photographs etc). This drops to $AUD5.00 per image for images supplied by the customer.
• Idempotent (non-database) CGI scripts such as form mailers and hit counters are charged at $AUD 50.00* per script.
• Database CGI scripts such as site usage trackers, statistics etc., are negotiable on functionality. Starting cost is $AUD 100.00* per script.
• Secure CGI scripts, such as member logins, account tracking and transaction processing are negotiable on functionality. Starting cost is $AUD 150.00* per script.
• Receive a 20% discount if you allow the placement of a link to Mystikan’s Cybersites on your Cybersite’s pages. (This link does not count towards text and graphics in your pages, of course!)

Stay Up To Date:

Ongoing site maintenance and update contracts are available at excellent rates. Choose your maintenance contract according to your needs:

• Regular: $AUD 20.00* per month retainer, plus all text and graphics updates charged as listed above.
• Premium: $AUD 100.00* per month retainer, with up to $AUD 300.00 worth of text, graphics and scripting updates per month included.
• Executive: $Negotiable* retainer, with all updates as required included.

Consider an average small business website. This might have say 20 pages containing a total of 8,000 words, 3 unique headers, 1 button set, 1 table frame set, 1 separator bar, 4 backdrops and perhaps 30 photos, with 20 supplied by the customer. It might include a site usage tracker, and an online credit card purchase script with database. Total cost for this site would be around $AUD 750.00**. You could expect to pay thousands of dollars for a site like this from another developer and it would not be as fast, functional or as polished as a Mystikan’s Cybersite.
