Whilst working on the Eastern Shore of Chesapeake Bay in 1990, I was introduced to various water fowl by a colleague. Needless to say we spent many a cold morning from 5 am in the dead of winter photographing many species of ducks in the frozen wetlands from Salisbury to Crisfield. Boy I miss those Maryland crab cakes !

These images were taken on a Canon EOS 650 with a 500mm f5.6 Mirror lens and a 7 element 2 X converter lens using Kodak Ektar 1000 ASA film, therefore most of these images display quite a grainy appearance.
