The orchid photos in this site are plants which I have in my collection. I have a few more species not included, but until they flower I am not putting them up, as I prefer to use my own images to illustrate the different varieties of orchids in my collection.

As my orchids flower I will be adding them to this site.

I have made a small “warm” Green House specifically designed for tropical species . I try to keep the over night minimum temperature above 18C  and below 34C during the day with the help of insulation material which is wrapped around the outside, and humidity between 40% to 60%.

Another good forum I belong to, specialising in orchids is www.orchidsonline.com.au. This forum contains many species grown by people who have spent many years growing and cultivating orchids and is set up in an easy to follow format with galleries of most available species.
