After attending a conference in Edinburgh in October of 1998, 2 of my colleagues accompanied me on a drive up to the Highlands and here a few of the images I took.
Due to the low light levels I was using high speed colour negative film which accentuated the grain after being scanned.
The running rivers were photographed prior to reaching the town of Fort William where we stayed over night. The photographs of the yachts were taken at 6 am the following morning just as the fog was starting to lift off the loch and as such there was very low, diffused light which added to the feel of the serenity of the yachts at anchor on the calm water.
