I have met Charles after staying with them briefly in +/- 1989 (with Roy, Angela & Lindy Osborne)
His mother, Jessy (208), came to Barry to be with her mother (212) for his (Charles') birth!

Last year I accessed some info re my Dad's wartime exploits - he was mentioned in despatches having been torpedoed, although only 20yr old and asleep having just come off watch he had the sense to run to the bridge grab the charts and take the main compass out of the binnacle and then get to his life boat. He then sailed his lifeboat with the other two following him towards the southern coast of Ireland. He died thinking it was a german submarine, in fact it was Italian and I have quite a lot of detail about the event.
