Communication

"Knowing":- Acquiring knowledge (the research phase) is the First Stage.

"Doing":- Making decisions and enacting new strategies (the marketing phase) is the Second Stage.

"Communicating":- Explaining and promoting what you have learnt is the essential Third Stage building block.

We believe any plans for change need to be "sold" if they are to be received and adopted in a positive manner. For example:-

If research says new systems are to be adopted ( to improve production), the staff need to be given adequate information BEFORE any changes occur.

If research says new procedures are to be instituted (to improve distribution), customers should be informed, BEFORE any changes occur.

OWL specialises in conveying findings from its research to all levels within a client's company and also to customers and suppliers who may affected. We use a variety of devices to communicate change to different parts of the organisation including:

Confidential Management Briefings on perceived company performance.

Detailed presentations to department managers (summarising results nationally, by state, branch, store or even by individual sales team or employee).

Motivational presentations of key results to line managers, supervisors or staff groups.

Powerpoint presentations to national conferences to give all delegates the same level of knowledge.

Facilitating "new opportunities" workshops involving sales and customer service staff (i.e: managing 'change' through employee involvement.)

Where new communications products are called for, OWL can:

  • Write and publish newsletters,
  • Prepare new sales literature,
  • Write new business development procedures manuals,
  • Issue news releases to trade media.
