WORLD FIN SWIMMING RECORDS

CMAS ASIA FIN SWIMMING RECORDS

Includes the Asian countries of China, Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Chinese Hong Kong, Chinese Taipai, Singapore, Kazakastan and Australia

MASTERS INTERNATIONAL RECORDS

Currently held every two years between Australia and Japan

Age groups are 25-34yrs, 35-44yrs, 45-54yrs and 55 & over.

Also included is a 25m breathhold (aponea) event and an extra relay of one person from each age group in 4 x 50m, 4 x 100m and 4 x 200m.

         AUSTRALIAN LONG COURSE RECORDS 

  Long course records must be swum in a recognized 50m Pool 

 Note:  a 25m Breathhold or Surface record cannot be claimed in a 50m Pool

AUSTRALIAN SHORT COURSE RECORDS                                    

  Short course records must be swum in a recognized short course (25m) pool

AUSTRALIAN TOP 10 LISTINGS

The top 10 comprises the Australian best 10 times ever swum, for both men and women.  These times are taken from the results given to the Records Officer and substantiated by two time keepers at a recognized OZFIN competition.  The competition must be conducted under the rules of OZFIN Bylaws.

TO CLAIM A RECORD

Record claims must be on the Official RECORD APPLICATION FORM. (Link is available below) or can be posted out on application to the Record's Officer.

Records swum and International  and National Events will be processed without a claim form providing the Record's Officer has the list of the official times signed by the chief judge of competition,

Please indicate if a certificate for records is required - cost of  a certificates is $5 (allow 3-4 weeks for delivery)
