MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION AND HOW TO REGISTER

OZFIN Inc. welcomes new members and offers the opportunity for people of all ages and abilities to become involved in club, state, and national competition, as well as the opportunity to participate in a truly unique sport.  Some participants may choose to participate in sessions mainly for fitness and social interaction and we would also welcome them as financial members.  Membership is due on July 1st each year until June 30th

REGISTRATION 

Competitors must be financial members of OZFIN before they can compete at National or International events. Entries will not be accepted from non financial members.  Non financial competitors will not be eligible for top 10 listing or records.  OZFIN Registration is due by July 1st each year.  

New Members may apply for pro-rata registration when joining after the due date.  A new member is one who has never previously been an OZFIN member or who has not been a member in the past 5 years.

Returning members who have been absent due to illness, injury or overseas postings can apply for pro-rata registration.

REGISTRATION FEES FOR NEW COMPETITIVE MEMBERS

    All members who wish to compete regardless of age need to pay a fee of $60

    Membership will be valid from whenever paid until June 30th.  At the discretion of the treasurer, half yearly fees may be accepted for new members only.

REGISTRATION FEES FOR NEW NON COMPETITORS

Membership fee payable is $40.  Should that member decide to become a competitor later through the year then they will be required to pay an additional $25

WHAT YOUR MEMBERSHIP COVERS

All members are insured through OZFIN.  This insurance covers members while carrying out competition, volunteer services and other duties conducted under the OZFIN banner.  This is by far our biggest outlay each year costing us approximately $40 per head

Competitors are also members of the Australian Underwater Federation and accounts for the $10 extra costs for competition.

• NOTE:     It is a condition of membership that the Waiver be signed by yourself or in the case of a minor (under 18 years of age) a parent or guardian.
•  It is your responsibility to pay any club fees that are due to your club
