Adelaide X-treme Weather

Okay, Okay. So Adelaide's not exactly 'twister central'.
Our fine, mild, stable weather may be good for lazy afternoons in the park with a sixpack, but it's not likely to dump golfball hail,
funnel clouds, snow or lightning bolts on us with any regularity.
SO WHAT?
That just means that Adelaide weather chasers have to sweat just a little bit harder than our eastern and western states comrades
to find that great squall line or wall cloud.

My kind of chasing! An afternoon walk to the south parklands as this quasi-mothership slides over! Its bark was worse than its bite, but it sure was something to see. 24-2-2006.

EUDUNDA MOVIE
And, using my new digcam's movie function for the first time, a roughly 4mb .avi of the same event! Be warned I am rather excited at this stage, so there may be some...colourful language! 9-12-2004.
