Verbester is a (free!) Windows application that will help you to learn Spanish by testing you on a range of verbs and their associated tense conjugations. The application uses short, quick tests that are run intermittently on your computer allowing you to build on your vocabulary. The ability to test in different tenses allows you to focus on areas of weakness whilst keeping score of your progress, allowing you to keep track of how you are progressing.
Verbester also provides a dictionary for looking up verbs and their tense structures. This allows you to search for a word - in english or spanish - and display the various forms of the verb. Combining this with the testing facility gives you access to a great tool for building your spanish proficiency. See the features and screenshots pages for examples of how the application works.
Verbester will run in the background on your computer and pop up at a defined interval to test you on the next round of verbs. This also gives you quick access to the dictionary function, a lot quicker than thumbing through pages of a verb book!
