Level 2 – GKB
Contents: Introduction | Summary of LevelsIntroduction
Level 2 (GKB) requires the same attributes as Level 1, however, considerable more input/output both physically and mentally is required from the student. From the arts perspective, it is acknowledging that one has reached the first standard (DBW (±)), and now the student can apply increased physical application to L2's forms. Naturally, the newly acquired knowledge is backward compatible throughout the preceding Forms/patterns and these new capabilities should be applied to L1 as well. Utilising the fundamentals of L1, i.e. alignments, an L2 student should have included to ones repertoire, a greater awareness and application of ones physical techniques, as well as being capable of higher input/output and initiating what will be the basis of Red Zone training.

Summary of Levels
- L1 achieves base technical alignment/awareness, through base alignment, and a greater general awareness of ones body perimeters, a more efficient and effective power is achieved – basic physics/logic suggest straight lines and logic have more power and speed (±)
- L2 utilises the fundamentals of L1 as will every level hereon. However, L2 incorporates power being placed into the technique as well as increased flexibility, therefore: (L1) Technique + Flexibility = L2
- Keeping in mind the benefits of strength through disciplined technique, flexibility gives a student a greater range of movement within the techniques range. As well a more relaxed muscle is developed which allows for a greater power/speed/stamina from the (muscles) relaxed state. Forms join the body, mind and spirit in an ever constant cycle, vis–à–vis errors being reduced recursively over each level
- Conversely, L3's power will be derived from the technique, more emphasis on mind intent training from the proposition of: Technique + Flexibility + Mind Intent = L3
- Touching on L4 — (((Technique) + Flexibility) + Mind Intent) + Spirit/Chi = Mind, Body & Soul Training
