Levels
In theory, this section of the web site is the styles curriculum. Therefore, a lot of the articles are text heavy (± 4,000 words) documents that unless the reader is aquatinted with classes, the contents may be hard to comprehend. However, feel free to browse them, they have been designed in such a manner that they have been segmented as much as possible. The Levels start off at the Basics and what is expected from a student on their first night through to Level 1 which takes a new student approximately one year to obtain and then right through to Level 6 which generally takes fifteen to twenty years to achieve and a life time to master. There is some terminology throughout this site that the reader should be aware of if they are not familiar with classes. The style is made up of patterns and forms, (groups of moves). Patterns are considered the practical's and forms are the finals, or exams of a particular section. Generally, a student has to achieve several mandatory patterns which are then accompanied by the levels respective form or level.
