YJQ Training Rules

  1. Wear the appropriate training attire and be punctual in attending classes
  2. Demonstrate at all times utmost respect for the instructors and fellow students
  3. Not smoke tobacco nor ingest in any way any illicit substance in or near the training environment
  4. Not deface, damage or interfere with in any way any structure within or in close proximity to the training environment
  5. Understand that reasonable questions may be raised with authorised instructors
  6. Understand that any personal or other property brought into the training environment shall be at the students' risk and that no liability shall be held against the Principal Instructor or instructors and proprietor / agency of the training environment should damage or loss of such goods occur
  7. Understand that any decision of the Principal Instructor in relation to any aspect of training in Yue Jia Quan may not be negotiable
  8. Note that notwithstanding clause 7 above affected students may be provided an opportunity to appeal with good reason any decision of the Principal Instructor
  9. Not strike or attempt to strike in any form or by any means any instructor or fellow student
  10. Understand that all sparring is of a controlled nature as directed by the Principal Instructor and that free-sparring is not ever permitted in the training environment
  11. Understand that training in Yue Jia Quan is primarily for the development of character
  12. Pay in advance the required monthly tuition fees as determined
  13. Understand that there is no guarantee that training in Yue Jia Quan as conducted by the Principal Instructor and authorised instructors will result in any improvement of capability in any form, physically or mentally
  14. Not bring into disrepute through any means the good name and nature of Yue Jia Quan as taught by the Principal Instructor and authorised instructors
  15. Demonstrate respect for instructors and students of other martial arts
  16. Understand that any breach of the rules as above may result in at least a caution and at worst expulsion from Yue Jia Quan training under the Principal Instructor
  17. All cuts / open wounds must be maintained and cared for prior to training with appropriate medical procedures. ALL injuries that have broken the skin during training must be dealt with immediately and notification to the instructor(s) is mandatory
  18. No student of Yue Jia Quan may open a class (school) or train another student or demonstrate any aspect of Yue Jia Quan without the Principal Instructor's knowledge and necessary permissions.
