Mt Horeb was the station for Adelong as that town was never connected though the track was surveyed and designed but not funded.
Mt Horeb was planned to be small town and laid out with 1 acre blocks but it never eventuated as the people bought up many blocks, the old post office for instance sits on 10 blocks.
