Discharged from KEMH: 29/1/98 - Weight: 3000grams - Head Circumference: 33.5cm on PBF Oxygen.
Hi Everyone welcome to this quick website i designed just to show you all some pictures of Amy Louise Green born at 22 WEEKS AND 2 DAYS gestation. Born 1/9/97 She weighed 435grams at birth and dropped to 370grams after 5 days...she is a miracle and her twin sister sophie who passed away at birth gave Amy her spirit and the Will to live. Sophie was born Twin1 I still have memories of her. The midwife at KEMH did little Sophie up in an outfit and took photos which I still remember to this day.

Amy only a few hours old...we had her babtised as we didnt think she was going to make it through the night.
Amy at only 5 days old battles on her will to live is very strong...we believe her sister Sophie gave her ,her spirit to live at this time of her life she had lost weight as prem babies do as you can see by the above picture only 370grams (13.051ounces)
Amy and Dads first hold....still very fragile but it was such an exciting time in the time of my life to get the first hold of my very fragile daughter....how precious life is!
Amy today with Bart Simpson a Happy girl who had several operations laser eye surgery, grommets in her ears 3 times but .....nothing can put a price on life!....The time in the Hospital at KEMH is somthing I will remember for the rest of my life. After being there 22 weeks and going through the roller coaster rides of emotion of happiness and saddness it was an experience I will never forget. I would like to thank all the staff at KEMH for all the help, support through my time there and I'm sure as this little page shows that at 22 weeks and 2 days gestation .....nothing is impossible!
