1975 Premiership

The 1975 Premiership finally saw North Melbourne emerge as a power in football. It took North 50 years to win its first premiership. At the time North Melbourne was the only team in the competition never to have tasted the ultimate success in football. The team, coached by Ron Barassi defeated Hawthorn in front of 110, 551 people at the MCG.
