The Charles Brownlow Medal is awarded to the AFL's best and fairest player in a season. It is the highest individual honour a player can receive. Umpires assign votes after the match to the best three players of the game. Players that are found guilty at the AFL Tribunal are ineligible (I believe time-wasting is excepted).
