Flashback to 1972

A flashback to season 1972, and the beginning of an ambitious campaign to win a premiership. At the time North had never won a premiership Brownlow Medal or had the VFL leading goal-kicker. Within 3 years, North had acheived them all. This is a true-life fairy tale!

1975 Premiership

The 1975 Premiership was the first ever premiership for North Melbourne. Loyal fans had waited 50 years to win the flag. North Melbourne defeated Hawthorn, a team which was also in its 50th year of VFL.

1977 Premiership

After a drawn Grand Final against Collingwood, both teams returned for the replay. It was North Melbourne's second premiership, defeating Collingwood by 27 points.

1995 Ansett Cup Premiership

The 1995 Ansett Cup Pre-Season Premiership was won by North Melbourne. Michael Martyn was best afield

1996 Premiership

North Melbourne defeated Sydney in the AFL's Centenary Year. Glenn Archer won the Norm Smith Medal for best afield
