Important Information to our Members

There have been a number of press comments reporting the Club's future directions.

It is planned that immediately we have some indication from the AFL Commission we will send our the full details of the Club's proposal to you, prior to any press release.

While you await the details, please be secure in the knowledge that the proposal is a win/win situation for all our members.

In the short term be advised:

(a) We have put a proposal to the AFL to play up to four "first" named team matches in Sydney.

(b) We seek a minimum of 15 matches in Melbourne with all or as many possible at the MCG.

(c) Your Club is the North Melbourne Football Club - The Kangaroo is our symbol. We are using the Kangaroo more often to increase our National appeal.

The proposal is bold and exciting. It will ensure we remain a strong, viable, Melbourne based Club. This is your Board's vision for the Club's future.
