When Brett Allison is finished with football he will be remembered most for the 1992 "Mark of the Year" he took against Collingwood at the MCG. Allison is one of the quickest players at the club, and uses his acceleration and left foot passing to good effect. Allison is capable of being a match winner, but can also be inconsistent at times. Allison is related (a cousin?) to Peter Bosustow, who also took Mark of the Year.
Allison's seven goals against Geelong in the 1996 Qualifying Final was perhaps his best ever performance.
