In celebrating the 100th year of football (1897-1996) the AFL selected what they considered to be the Team of the Century. On the selection panel were Allen Aylett, Percy Beames, Bob Davis, Gerard Healy, Jack Irving, Bill Jacobs, David Parkin and Greg Hobbs.

Keith Greig was the only selected North Melbourne player. Greig played 297 games for North Melbourne, and won the 1973 and 1974 Brownlow Medals. He captained North Melbourne from 1976-1979. Greig was also the featured North Melbourne player on the recent stamps brought out by Australia Post.

Australia Post has these stamps out now.
Make sure you get these collector's items in celebration of the 100th Year of Football.
