Kangaroobie / Kangaroo Bay March & Gamboola Wellington Part of Molong Run licensed by Thomas Kite in 1837. It is said that the name came from the fact that droves of Kangaroos would gather in the area. The land later became part of the Dalton Family properties.

Larras Lake Copper Hill Wellington Formerly Mullyarah then known as Lake Farm, changing to Larras Lake (Larry’s Lake) about 1840. The land was occupied by William Lee in 1826 and the title was granted in 1832.

Mandagery Creek several parishes Ashburnham Head waters are in the Garra area and is known as Garra Creek in this part. It was also referred to as Dochendoras Creek in 1835 by Major Mitchell and then Mundagery in 1845. Mandagery (moon'-dah'-gee'-ri) meaning has been reported as being waterholes or chain of water holes or big crooked creek with nasty tasting water.

Molong Ashburnham In 1896 it was the home of Mr John White and in 1926 Mr James Ellis left the area to live at Geurie.
Medina Hotel   Ashburnham This was called Half-way House Hotel on the Cargo Road which was kept by James Hill. The license was allowed to lapse about 1895 and reopened as the Medina in early 1903 by Mr James Joseph Carman. By April 1903 it was burnt down with the loss of the Post Office books for the area.
