Rex discusses beer and its origin!

Beer, is a wonderful thing, it puts my daddy in a really good mood. Sometimes I even get more treats when he's on the piss!

In fact, according to eat-online it is closely interwoven with the history of mankind.

From the ancient Sumarians and Babylonians through the middle ages of Monastary brewing, Gambrinus and Friedrich Wilhelm I to present day, beer has always been there for man.

But instead of talking about beer as a historical crutch for men everywhere, I want to focus on what it is that John and his buddy Pete genoflect to.

Yes, we live in Tasmania and so it can only be ..... Cascade Draught.

... according to Wikipedia the Cascade Brewery is the oldest brewery in Australia.

But enough about that. it comes in a can - which means 20 minutes in the freezer and she's cold. and thats about all the boys need to know. Of course, the fact that Cascade produces its own malt - something most other breweries don't do, really has nothing to do with it.

So try a glass of Cascade Draught today. You'll be glad you did. Of course if you live in a foreign country you might have difficulty getting your hands on a Cascade Draught. if this is the case then try Boags Premium - also Tasmanian. Don't try Cascade Premium because it's shite by comparison.
