COMMENTS
After wnning 4 out of 5 games the Tigers are slowly losing control of their own destiny. The Tigers have lost their last two games and face another must win game next week at Unley Oval.

Before the game Crows duo Matthew Bode and Jacob Schuback were late withdrawals with the flu.

Saturday's result against the Panthers could have been very different.  After winning the toss and electing to kick with a stiff breeze the Bays wasted opportunites, very similar to last week, and failed to nullify South Adelaide's tall forwards.  During the first half the Tigers were on the end of some questionable umpiring decisions- 0-7 free kick count before they received their first free.  Glenelg hit the post on three occasions'- 2 in the first and the other early in the final quarter.  Matthew Duldig missed two get-able set shots midway through the third quarter which would have given the men in black and gold the lead and the momentum.

On the positive side of the ledger, Ben Moore made a welcome return after injury with 3 goals (including a 'poster'). Craig Statham shut down his taller South opponent after quarter time. In the third quarter David Mitchell kicked a monster 70 metre goal from the centre square which unfortunately failed to inspired the Tigers to victory.  Youngster Matthew Reavill and teenager Bryce Gibbs conitune to give us a glimpse of the future- well in the case of Gibbs, the future of the Adelaide Crows.

With the victory South Adelaide retain the Carey-Darley Cup.
