COMMENTS
Glenelg's 2005 finals aspirations are virtually over after an embarrassing defeat to bottom side West Adelaide.  Sitting two games outside the five and an inferior percentage the Tigers must win their remaining games and rely on other sides losing.  The surprising inclusion of Brett Backwell could not inspire the pathetic Tigers.

Glenelg were held goal-less from the 11th minute mark of the second quarter to the third minute mark of the final quarter.  During the this time West Adelaide stretched their lead from 20 to 79 points.  An 8 goal final quarter put some respectability on the scoreboard but not enough to stop  the supporters from leaving embarrassed and in dismay.

Despite some encouraging performances the Glenelg Football Club is in turmoil- it has been since 1996.  Whether it is the coach, the players or a combination of both the supporters deserve better than the crap that was dished up on Saturday.
