COMMENTS
The Bays returned to their very best form in thumping a disappointing
Redlegs at Coopers Stadium on Friday night. In drizzly conditions the Tigers
stormed the opposition with a six goal first quarter to lead by 27 points.
Glenelg's dominance continued in the second quarter. The Seassiders kicked
five goals while keeping Norwood goal-less. The 57 point advantage at half-time
was well earned.
The last half was purely academic. The Tigers stretched the lead out to
73 points at the final change before being outscored four goals to two in
final quarter.
Todd Grima was dominant up forward kicking five goals and he was well
supported by Kirkby, Murphy and Sellar.
Norwood's only moment of joy was kicking the first goal.
Glenelg's next game will be against Port Adelaide in three weeks, after
the State game and the bye.
