Building a Bat Cave A Typical Bat Cave
These poor fellas don't have many places to go. Some of them are very small. Cats and foxes eat them too! They're not dangerous. Australia doesn't have any Vampire bats. They certainly eat a lot of pesky insects and a little fruit and food scraps too. They like a moist and cool home.

SPECIAL NOTES

These guys like the entrance to their home facing south-east and down at about 45( so they can fall out into flight. When they come home they like to swoop up into the entrance. More than 3 metres off the ground is good.

They can be a bit smelly so choose a place away from the house!

Hang bits of fruit nearby and watch them eating in the moonlight.
