• Assisted with the concept and commissioning of Australia's largest coverage VHF radio communications** network during 1991.
• A communications "frame" designed to cater for hill-top, helicopter-drop, solar powered systems now adopted by two NT government bodies.
• Technical consultant.

GHAN PRESERVATION SOCIETY NT - 1988 to 1991.
• Part of successful team restoration railway items including a NSU diesel and W Class steam locomotives.
• Live-in Station Master at Ewaninga Railway Siding.

THE SILENT POWER PROJECT - 1990 to 1991.
• Consultant to first electric vehicle project in Central Australia.
• Assisted with construction and technical aspects of first registered electric vehicle in Central NT.

AMATEUR RADIO - 1976 to 1995.
• Assisted the founding of three clubs.
• Provide technical training for prospective licensees.
• NT DOTC assessor of examinations.
• Produced related magazines.
• On-call emergency operator and technician for large country area.
• Relayed over one thousand radio messages in a twenty-four hour emergency period during Ash Wednesday in 1983.
