the Redlands, the Redlands Lawn Tennis
Association is a non-profit
organisation with a community focus.
It has a proud history dating back to
1935 and with a membership of around
500, it is the oldest and largest
tennis club in the Redlands.

New look for courts 5 & 8

At our club last Sunday, a few jobs
needed to be done and these jobs
needed a few hands to ensure that they
were nothing more than light
work. Despite the short notice,
a band of willing helpers braved the
cool morning to drag themselves out of
bed to spread sand, dig a trench and
erect some wind breaks on courts 5
& 8.

Koolcats do it tough against Redland Bay

The Cleveland Koolcats played the
Redland Bay team in the Brisbane
Seniors competition on Sunday 29
April. It would be fair to say that
our band of intrepid warriors found
the going tough against our nearest
neighbours, especially on their home
turf, losing nine close sets to three.
