The annual general
meeting of the RLTA was held at the clubhouse on
Saturday 28th January 2006. The club
president's report on club activities in 2005
included the following:

Appointment of Jani
Kroyherr as the new coach and Betty McCoy as the
club administrator.

A 100% increase in
the numbers in the junior development program
-
Opening of the new
clubhouse in May with support from local,
state and federal politicians
- Upgrade to enviro-lights on courts 1
to 4.

- Wonderful support from members in
painting and adding dampening carpet to
various court back-walls

- A fantastic job by Keith Collier and
Pat Cleary in maintaining the court
surfaces and gardens

- RLTA Vets have raised sufficient
funds (raffles) to purchase a BBQ and
external tables for the new clubhouse

A major revision of
the club's web site (www.rlta.org.au)

Our first ever win
of the inter-district Tom Ferguson Shield

The re-introduction
of mid-week junior fixtures

Various sponsorship
for memorial benches for clubhouse verandahs

a new drain at the western end of the tennis
complex
