Many people have expressed disappointment with the way democracy works, governments all too often do things which we don't want done, however it has been noticed that Governments are influenced by public opinion.

We are also very aware of the many threats to civilisation, climate change, peak oil, water shortages, over population, pollution etc.. We may find solutions to some of these but we will not be able to solve them all - this will result in wars and terrorism and our children and grandchildren will be the one's who will suffer. This is due to greed and our lack of foresight. The least we can do is to provide better education for the children of the world who will have to cope with and find solutions to these problems.

The first step is to go to the attached campaign sheets or to the "concernforkids" web page which you can find on: <http://www.users.on.net/rmc/concernforkids.htm>

This page gives two methods of spreading the campaign.

Firstly by Email, you simply send a note to your contacts saying:

"Hi! There is this great campaign on <http://www.users.on.net/rmc/concernforkids.htm> have a look and please join in!" 

Or you can copy this letter (use this PDF link) or write one of your own to any of your Email contacts.

Secondly, by post and print. The campaign sheet (identical to the sheet you can print out from the web page) can be photo copied and posted to your friends or distributed at meetings. Get the support of your organisation, they may give publicity in their magazines.

You will note that there are two versions of the campaign sheet which may appeal to different people. As an economy you may copy them back to back. It is suggested that letters be sent to the general public and some months later send copies to your MP or Senator.

This campaign has been planned on economy lines. The cost to you depends on how much printing and postage you decide to undertake. I have updated my system but no charge is being made for the service. Everyone is asked to send out at least 6 letters to the general public and follow up later with letters to your representatives. Please also send to any overseas contacts you may have and report back to the address below the district, country and postcode where you have sent letters.
