Ranks

Ranks exist in Orc society to help seperate the strong from the weak. The strong assist in leading the clan and keeping a certain level of order, to the chaotic lifestyle of the clan. Orcs who show adeptness in their skills, will progress. Those Orcs who show they can use their nog'n as well, will progress even further through the ranks.
Always follow the orders of a rank higher than you. Orders given from a high ranking orc of your own class, outweigh the orders given by a rank of another class. (Except Warlord/Shaman and above... they should always be listened to!)

The Ork Ranks:

Pug

Grunt/Mojokii/Ork Worker

Warrior/Mojoka/Skilled Ork Worker

Ork Berserker/Ork Battlemage/Ork HammerBanger

Ork WarBoss/ Ork Shaman

Ork Clanmaster/Elders

The punishment rank of Peon will be discussed at the end of this page

PUGS

This is the introductory rank for Orks. Pugs are the smallest and weakest of the orcs. They obey all who issue orders to them. The will always grovel for their life. They are the lowest of the low... they are pugs! But all orks should remember that they all started as a pug themselves and help these very young orks to mature to their next rank as quickly as possible!

GRUNTS

This is the second rank for warring orcs. Grunts basically exist to solely carry out the orders of their masters. Grunts aren't too smart, so they need their masters to do the thinking for them. A grunt's first lesson, will always be to learn how to "Krimp and Heal". These orcs seldom wander away from the orc fort. Grunts spend a long time in training, until they have grandmastered a weapon skill and are acknowledged for promotion.

MOJOKII

This is the second rank for the mage class orcs. Mojokii are constantly practising their skills around the fort, but lack the confidence to use their abilities in ork wars. Therefore a mojokii can only use offensive spells on baddies or crits, during Ork battles the mojokii will use his skills to keep other orks alive with healing and cure spells. Once the mojokii has the ability to summon a servant(daemon) and is adept in evaluating intelligence, he can join the ranks of the Mojoka!

ORK WORKERS

The second ranking for the clan workers, this ork is working hard to improve his skills and spends alot of time assisting the Skilled workers and Clan Hammerbanger learning from them and gathering materials. Once this ork is adept in his main skill, he progresses to the rank of Skilled ork Worker.

ORK WARRIOR

The majority of the orks within the clan.....These orks have become fierce fighters skilled in varied weaponry. Warriors should always be seen as role-models for the ranks below them. A Warrior must be well versed in orc clomping tactics. Rarely will you ever see one dead in the battlefield. These orcs may patrol slightly beyond the Land of Kor for short periods of time. Most of your life will be spent at either Warrior rank. Most orcs are just happy to follow orders, so they do not aspire for leadership, and seldom get a higher rank.

ORK MOJOKA

This Ork has become a formidable weapon indeed! Striving to Grand master all his mojo skills, The Mojoka rains death on all that oppose it.  They will quite often lead expeditions of warriors to gather resources from afar, skirmish a known enemy camp, or seek some ancient ork artifact.

ORK SKILLED WORKER

These worker orks are fast becoming masters of their selected crafts, they spend hours stocking the shak with needed supplies of weapons, armor and mojo-wada. They are working hard towards getting their "paw print" upon items made by them. They answer to the clan Hammer-Banger.

ORK BERSERKER

This ork is the most fearsome warrior in the clan, flying into a rage at the sight of blood.  They will charge into battle howling, and though you may often see one dead on the ground, they are usually surrounded by dozens of enemy corpses who fell to his axe.  To gain this rank is rare indeed, as it shows true dedication to the clan, a willingness to sacrifice themself for their clanmates, and true roleplay skill.

ORK BATTLEMAGE

A Mojoka who has risen high in the Wargod's favor, they are often the leaders of raiding parties.  These orcs wield fire and lightning as naturally as they breathe, and hurl death at their enemies from afar.  Often these orcs will organise clompfests to strengthen the rest of the clan, and they burn with fervor for the Wargod.  Requires a high level of RP skill, and the ability to spout orcish prophecies at a moment's notice.

ORK HAMMER BANGER

This ork is the leader of the worker class of orks and oversees their training. He also heavily monitors the clans needs for equipment and makes sure that all needed items are available. Should this ork ask for resources, it is expected that any lower ranked orks will assist.

CLAN SHAMAN

The Shaman is the leader or the Mojokas of the clan. He is advisor to the clanmaster and equal rank with the WarLord. He is responsible for the training of and selecting of possible new mojoka of the clan. He is the Clanmaster's left-paw Ork

ORK WAR LORD

The Warlord title is self explanatory, He leads the Clan united into battle (not necessarily from the front though) He is a master of group battle tactics and organization.
The Warlord is also the clan disciplinarian. It is him that decides on what punishment a rule breaker receives and he is the one to dish it out. He is also the Clanmaster's right paw Ork.

ORK CLANMASTER

Oversees the running of the clan in all respects from the website to the clan stone to diplomatic relations with enemies and allies. Also attempts to keep the clan moving forward.

ORK ELDER

Orks that can do whatever they like... they have served the clan to the characters "old age" and have retired from active decision making but are still revered respected above all. their advice is listened to very carefully and heeded.

PEON

The rank for orcs that seriously breach the clan laws, or dont learn from being clomped a few times. An orc who is made a peon must spend 2 weeks at this rank and has to be active around the fort during that time. He is reduced to wearing only leather pants, ork helm and boots, and he wields only a club, knife, hatchet or dagger. He can be ordered to do any task (within reason) whilst a peon and must complete that task as soon as possible. He can also be clomped at will by any ork in the clan and must take it without a word. ( This is to show the other orks anger at the peon) An ork made a peon that cannot accept these conditions or fails to spend a suitable time at the fort during his sentence, will have his time as a peon extended or be booted from the clan.. (It is not good to be a peon, so follow the rules) For an ork to be demoted to this rank requires a majority vote of the clanmaster, shaman and warlord.

These orks are also required to change their speech color to "newbie blue" while they are a pug
