Now where's that can of Bug Spray ?

I like RDO's. I don't like mistakes. So I sat down and debugged the GBAMP ini Editor. I found the reason why the converter would load everything up and then do nothing when converting.

Darn silly program refuses to convert if there are any letters in the default name setting. It has to be all numbers for some strange reason.

So I've removed this option from the program, and changed the order in which the settings are written. It shouldn't make a difference at all, but who knows. The settings can be in any order for the editor, it's not picky at all.

The new version (1.0) can be found on the side bar. This should be it for the program, unless other bugs show up.

Movie Converter

I've been thinking about creating my own Movie Converter. I have a friend who is a software engineer who is quite willing to assist in programming the Converter.

At this stage it's an idea. Vapourware, complete and total vapourware. Firstly I'll try to code a gbm/gbs media player.

I can see how it's done in GraphEdit, and it's quite easy. Doing it in Visual Basic is a little harder. So challenge No.1 is to create a standalone media player and go on from there.

Now, I know you're thinking : Why reinvent the wheel ? We already have a Movie Converter. I know, however there are features I'd like to see in there. Mostly VOB audio choice, and subtitles. It would be good if other container formats can be included (Matroska, OGG, etc).

Who knows ?!

Don't bug me, let me think about this and wait and see what happens. No promises.
