Testing Testing... Is this thing on ?

Ok folks, here is a very very preliminary version of Remind Me. It's a small reminder program written totally in Visual Basic 6.0

I'm releasing this alpha test version for people to use and test. It's not fully functional and may cause crashes. I'll be adding features and ironing out bugs as the days and weeks pass. Please try to avoid using the preferences at all. They'll cause hassles and crashes, this much I can tell you.

Please don't contact me about bugs at this stage, I know about most of them and I'm working through them as fast as I can.

You can get Remind Me here.

Check back regularly for updates and feature additions.

I think we got one...

I received an email from the code guru (I wonder if I could get that nick to stick). It was somewhat of a cryptic email. I was looking for a: You're problem is this line or this code.

Instead I got an email about naughty coding. So I spent some time going over the naughty coding, only to realise that I was mixing old and new code, and it was the old code that was being called via a timer that was causing my issues.

The good news : I've got the program working. Reminders are now set again. No, they don't "go off" just yet, but that shouldn't be too hard to rewrite.

The program does crash still upon exit. Again due to old and new code. Converting everything to support collections sure is a pain. It'll be worth it in the end, giving an unlimited number of reminders available.

Expect to see a version online soon. Finally.
