End Stage - Now that the silly season is over we have completed the house and garden and started work on maintaining the vehicles.
The brick paving, limestone wall and garden are completed.
Enjoy the photos below.
This painting titled "Cobblestoning Venice"
(due to global warming and rising sea levels)
is now finished and hanging in the lounge room. Measuring a metre wide it is the largest painting I have done to date.

I needed a bit of colour in the dining room so this one was painted and hung. The camels were inspired from our time in Broome and as always with us, one camel didn't follow the crowd!

The garden plants were supplied from my sister's nursery in York and a couple of plants from Bunnings.

A bit of cream cement and beach sand and my gargoyle came to life. Inspiration came from a picture of an 18th century gargoyle at Oxford University, England which I found on the web.

He's up and protecting our house from evil spirits.

New painting started for the bedroom, lots of colour and a seascape to match our shark bedspread. Charcoal outline done first then I just have to fill in the fish.

The patrol has been fully serviced and is in the process of being polished. Meanwhile Sandy has cleaned the interior of the caravan and is starting on the outside. I've removed the bumper and the water tank which had a broken coupling.

Also had to make a new tent pole holder as the last one got squashed on a deep, dry, creek crossing while looking for a camping area in gold country near Marble Bar.
Plans are underway for a trip to Dongara for Easter then off to Ningaloo late April after the school holidays for up to five months.
Hope everyone will have a great 2009 like were planning to have.
Till next time
Peter and Sandy
