Stage 7 - Ceilings and cornices in, painting started, floors readied for
tiling and Patio installed.

 

 Another month of action, did some more paving, installed a patio,
installed all the soakwells and Maurie has moved into his workshop.
Inside I have flushed almost all the walls and ceilings, corniced and
painted the ceilings. Also hung a door and readied the bathroom floor
for tiling. On eBay we purchased a timber dining suite which with a
little work will come up nicely.

 

Patio

Raised up to create a feeling of space.

Laundry

Overhead shelf in and floor levelled for tiling,
fibreglass shower is in the corner.

I think we went to about 30 tile shops before we finally
settled on the ones we got. Photos next month.

Toilet

 

Lounge TV recess

Solid timber dining suite
and side table which we will cut down to a coffee table. Needs a little
sanding and a new coat of varnish but looks great. $200 bargain!

Hopefully we will have a bit of tiling done so that the
bathroom/toilet/laundry will be almost finished and the light fittings we
bought this month will be installed. More painting for Sandy to do.
