An educational resource
In 2001 a group of Crystal Waters residents decided to embark on an educational DVD resource showcasing the transformation that had been achieved of a former degraded cattle property into a vibrant rural residential intentional community. Themes chosen were permaculture design, innovative housing, a wood fired oven artisan bakery, and the natural beauty and wildlife of the property.
The contents of the DVD are now made available here in full as an online resource. There are several documentary films, a wealth of photographs, supporting small films, archival interviews and a series of maps and aerial photographs of the property.
These educational films were progressed over an 18 month period. The main documentary film has a narration. This narration is available on this website as a PDF file. The DVD content was created by former secondary and tertiary educators, and is aimed at schools and TAFE colleges, other educational institutions, libraries, and the interested public.
