> STATION

This is the station, this is where the vehicles are all housed. Training occurs here regularly, as well as off-site locations to help enhance our training for any situation that we may encounter. This station was built through fund-raising by the brigade and donations from members,  the local community and business. This was done as the old station was simply a shed, big enough to house the 24 appliance. Renovations and additions to the station were completed in early 2003.
This is the communications/meeting room. This is where all the radio communications take place as well as brigade meetings. During an incident, there will always be someone here manning the radio and taking notes as well as organising extra resources if need be.
The engine bay; this is where the 24 appliance is housed. The engine bay also has a sink for washing of equipment such as Breathing Apparatus (BA). This is also where fridges for water are kept and a small communications cupboard where GRN and VHF radios are kept in charging cradles.
The vehicle bay; this is where Paracombe QRV and the CABA refilling trailer are parked. At some stages Gum Car 2 is also housed in this shed depending on the need for resources.
The BA cylinder store. This is where group BA cylinders are stored weather they need refilling, or if they are filled and ready for replacement of spent cylinders.
