Church Leadership Team
Elders - The Board of Elders consists of the Senior Pastor, Assistant Pastor, and Elder. The Board of Elders is responsible for the spiritual ministries and oversight of the church.
Deacons - The Board of Deacons operates under the direction of the Board of Elders and is responsible for the general management of the church.
Team Leaders - Ministries of the church are lead by teams with their own Team Leader.

Alliance Women

Mothers of Pre-Schoolers (MOPS)

A program especially designed for all Mums with children under school age. Mums enjoy a program of crafts, morning tea and speakers, while their children are cared for in a "Moppets program especially for children.

Christian Training Program (CTP)

At Southside we believe that the purposes of God go beyond evangelism, to the building up of a mature people of Christ. The Christian Training Program (CTP) provides for this need. Based on Biblical teachings throughout, this course comprehensively equips all God's people His service.

The whole program consists of 6 consecutive books. It combines lessons for individual home study with group discussion, along with practical ministry assignments each week.

This course aims to introduce the student to all the basic disciplines of the Christian life and ministry, providing:
- a thorough knowledge of Christ's life and ministry
- a comparative analysis of the four Gospels
- the Old Testament background to Christ's ministry
- techniques of study, reflection and application
- an outline of systematic theology
- a comparison of Christianity with other religions
- an emphasis on practical ministry in the local church

MOSAIC

The MOSAIC at Southside stands for Men Of Southside Action In Christ. It will be a fellowship of men comprising of the brothers of Southside with different cultures, nationalities, ages and backgrounds. We aim at witnessing Christ in action by addressing the men's needs to support each other; and by discovering the men's abilities to help the others. We exist by embracing the brothers in a collective body of Christ.

SIS stands for Southside Information Services. We aim to serve the Southside family by providing a support structure of information technology to the church. Prayer

A prayer group meets at the Church House every Sunday at 10.00am. The prayer Team Leader sends current prayer points to the small groups each week.

Prayer for the Sick
Provision is made in the redemptive work of the Lord Jesus Christ for the healing of the mortal body. Prayer or the sick and anointing with oil are taught in the Scriptures and are privileges for the Church in this present age. If you desire prayer for healing, please contact the Pastor or Elders.

Pastoral Care and Counselling
Day-to-day pastoral care is provided through the Small Groups and this is a good reason to join one of them. The Pastor and Elders are alway available for more serious counselling needs and, if necessary, we have access to a network of specialist counselling in our area.

Purpose: We exist to glorify God by motivating people to be purposeful; passionate participants in world evangelisation.
We will do this by developing believers to proclaim the gospel of Christ, to make more disciples and gather them into local churches.
