Total Solar Eclipse 2002 - Diamond Ring at 2nd Contact & "Puff"

The diamond ring was incredible! It was photographed just seconds before totality. You can see our friend Puff (the Cloud), who very nearly threatened totality. I think I was the only person to notice this cloud at the time, as I could see it clearly through my telephoto lens. Whilst it did partially obscure the first diamond ring, luckily, by a few seconds into totality, it had moved just enough as to not block the event that we had travelled halfway across the country to see. The cloud was moving from left to right - in the widefield photos you can see it just to the right of totality. A prominence is also visible in this photo, at around 7 o'clock.
