Scout Shouts Youth Theatre has the following mission:

  • To provide an opportunity for youth members of the scouting and guiding associations to develop confidence and self value.
  • To enhance the reputation of scouting and guiding within the local community
  • To provide an opportunity for youth members to develop theatrical skills both onstage and off, whilst having a rewarding experience.

We believe that this mission statement reflects the importance of youth members involved within Scout Shouts

We are committed to restoring Scouting and Guiding values to both the management and content of Scout Shouts. By this , we mean to run rehearsals with an opening and closing parade, take patrol photos for the program in Scout and guide uniform, and be mindful of the five aims of Scouting to develop youth members:

  • Intellectually
  • Emotionally
  • Spiritually
  • Physically
  • Socially
