This page contains some tips and tutorials in using the ERE Mega32 Board

The microcontroller is the Atmel AVR Mega 32 which includes the following attributes:




  • 32K Bytes Flash memory
  • 2K Bytes of RAM
  • 16Mhz max rated speed
  • 32 I/O pins
  • UART
  • I2C (TWI)
  • 8 channel 10-bit ADC
  • 4 PWM Channels

It is a very neat and compact board that is great for robotics and other portable projects.  All I/O pins are exposed via headers (16 Pin IDCC) and PORT A (which has PWM pins) is doubley exposed via a terminal block too.  With spots for the DS1307 Real Time Clock and 24LC EEPROM memory, time and memory are easily accesible making things like data logging easier.

The LCD isn't as easy to hook up as at first it might appear.
