Sturt District Cricket Club is situated at Hawthorn, about 8 kilometres from the Adelaide city centre.
It has competed in the South Australian Cricket Association A Grade division (formerly as the Unley Cricket Club) since the 1897-98 season.
The clubrooms are situated on Angas Road, Hawthorn at the Price Memorial Oval. Training sessions for all teams are at this ground, and the oval is used for the A and B grade matches. C and D grade matches are played at the Unley Oval.
This season, the club has teams competing in all men's SACA grade divisions, senior and junior, as well as a LOA and two junior turf teams. Senior teams play in A, B, C, and D grades.
Juniors play Under 17 (BankSA Shield in January only), Under 16 (2 teams), Under 14 (2 teams), and Ray Sutton Shield (October, November only) for primary students. Under 15 and under 13 play in turf teams.
Women's teams play in A, B, and C grade competition, as well as Scorpion Shield for primary school age girls.
