SHAUN TAIT—AUSTRALIA

Shaun Tait's shoulder-strong action slung him on to the 2005 Ashes tour, where he played two Tests The Bradman Young Cricketer of the Year in 2003-04, Tait also picked up the ING Cup's Best New Talent prize, chiefly for his 8 for 43 against Tasmania, the best figures in domestic limited-overs history.

SHELLEY NITSCHKE—AUSTRALIA

Shelley Nitschke was 28 when she broke into Australia's team in 2005. A short, blonde spinner who oozes energy, she was the perfect candidate to inspire Australia's victorious World Cup campaign; becoming the leading wicket-taker in that campaign.

CULLEN BAILEY – AUSTRALIA A

Cullen's offspin has already turned him into an international and Bailey, a leggie, could be the one chosen to follow Shane Warne and Stuart MacGill. Bailey is coached by Terry Jenner, the man who keeps an eye on Warne.

CAMERON BORGAS—SOUTH AUSTRALIA

First chosen for South Australia as a 17-year-old, Cameron Borgas finally got to show his capabilities five seasons later in 2005-06. His maiden century of 140 against Tasmania was followed by 149 facing New South Wales at Adelaide Oval on the way to a commendable haul of 507 runs at 39.
