Papier-mâché is Geraldine Krieg's preferred medium of self-expression although she has also developed skills in print making and silk painting. She is self-taught and has been exhibiting widely over the past 15 years in galleries throughout Australia.

Her works are in collections in the US, UK and Switzerland and throughout Australia. Her brightly coloured, mostly functional and sometimes zany pieces are highly prized by collectors. In recent years she has been stretching the bounds of Papier-mâché blending larger sculptural and architectural pieces with smaller domestic and other forms, all painted in strong vibrant colours to create joyful imagery.
